CEO and Artist at Huse Skelly Gallery, Lisa is honored to be the steward of this treasured Plein Air Gallery since 2018. Debra Huse passed the torch to award winning pastelist and now owner of the Huse Skelly Gallery. Lisa takes great care to present the gallery as warm, welcoming and available for all to enjoy. She represents the top Plein Air artists in the country and helps collectors fall in love with, and acquire, beautiful pieces for their own collections. She feels it is important to nurture and guide the next generation of Plein Air Artists and to create a space where art students and accomplished artists as well can find beginning or advanced classes and workshops.

Debra Huse

Founder and Artist at Huse Skelly Gallery, Debra founded this award winning and nationally acclaimed Plein Air Gallery in 1998. She gathered some of the top Plein Air Artists in the country and curated a collection of their artwork to exhibit and share with discerning collectors that wanted to collect the finest in Plein Air Artworks.

Debra is an internationally acclaimed and award winning Artist herself and through her classes and online workshops reaches students around the world and helps them to hone their painting skills. Julie Stroot

Administrative and Financial Coordinator, Julie fills an important role that includes finances and organization for the HS Gallery and keeps us rolling like a well oiled machine. 

Julie is a graduate of UCLA and has brought a whole new level of expertise to our HSG Family.

Lora Zippe


A graduate of University of Illinois with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, Lora is not just a rocket scientist. As our video and film producer, Lora is just as creative as she is intelligent. When she is at mission control everything runs smoothly and she also spends time with us building gallery relationships. We haven’t found anything that she can’t do, which is great for us!
